Islamabad has been the capital of Pakistan since the 1960s. It’s a place that is a perfect combo of peace, greenery and fun!

The Pakistan Monument (Urdu: یادگارِ پاکستان) is a national monument and heritage museum located on the western Shakarparian Hills in Islamabad, Pakistan.
The monument was constructed to symbolize the unity of the Pakistani people.
It is dedicated to the people of Pakistan who sacrificed their "today" for a better "tomorrow".
The four large petals represent each of the four main cultures of Pakistan, the Punjabi, the Baloch, the Sindhi and the Pakhtun.
The three smaller petals represent: the minorities, and Azad Kashmir.
Its elevation makes the monument visible from across the Islamabad-Rawalpindi metropolitan area and is a popular tourist destination.
3. Damn-e-Koh
Daman-e-Koh (Urdu: دامن کوہ) is a hilltop garden north of Islamabad. It is in the center of the Margalla Hills.
The name is a fusion of two Persian words, which collectively denote 'foothills'.
It is about 2400 ft above sea level and about 500 ft above Islamabad.
The area is a popular destination for both residents and tourists.
Never ever skip visiting Daman-e-Koh Park. Daman-e-Koh is located on the route to Pir Sohawa,
which is approximately 3600 ft above sea level. Since the road is slender and winding,
it is cited as a reason for traffic jams for the lack of public transportation alternatives.
4. Faisal Masjid
The Faisal Mosque (Urdu: فیصل مسجد, romanized: faisal masjid) is the national mosque of Pakistan,
located in the capital city, Islamabad. It is the fifth-largest mosque in the world,
the largest mosque outside the Middle East, and the largest within South Asia,
located on the foothills of Margalla Hills in Islamabad. It is named after the late King Faisal of Saudi Arabia.
The mosque features a contemporary design consisting of eight sides of concrete shell and is inspired by the design of a typical Bedouin tent.
5.Marghazar zoo
Islamabad Zoo (Urdu: اسلام آباد چڑیا گھر), previously Marghazar Zoo,
was an 82-acre (33 ha) zoo in Islamabad Capital Territory.
It was opened in 1978, and was under the administration of Capital Development Authority of Pakistan
before its closure in December 2020 due to its mistreatment of animals.

6. Lok Virsa - Our History and Culture
The Pakistan National Museum of Ethnology (or Folk Heritage Museum) was originally established in 1982 as the "Folk Art Museum".
The museum showcases Pakistan's multicultural society by displaying history and living traditions of the various ethnic groups of Pakistan
from all corners of the country.
The museum covers an area of 20,000 square feet and in 2004 underwent renovations and was renamed.
The museum is open from 10:00 am to 7:00 pm from Sunday to Thursday and Saturday.
On Friday, the museum closes for one hour between 1:00 pm to 2:00 pm. The museum is closed on Mondays.
7. Centaurus Mall
The Centaurus is a mixed usereal estate development in the city of Islamabad, Pakistan.
